SPECIALIZED EVALUATION AND THERAPY • VOICE DISORDERS: Voice strain, pain, fatigue, poor quality or reduced volume or range. • VOICE OPTIMIZATION: Respiratory, phonatory, & resonatory balancing for teachers, speakers, & singers • RESPIRATORY MUSCLE STRENGTH TRAINING: For singers, athletes, musicians and geriatric populations with high aspiration risk and/or weak cough strength. • GENDER AFFIRMING COMMUNICATION THERAPY: Verbal voice therapy and/or non-verbal communication therapy for LGBTQ+ & cisgender persons • CHRONIC COUGH and/or CHRONIC THROAT CLEARING CESSATION: This includes symptoms that started during COVID or other upper airway infections that haven't gone away. • BEHAVIORAL BREATHING DISORDERS: rescue breathing strategies and techniques for shortness of breath. • SWALLOWING DISORDERS: clinical evaluations and individualized therapy for difficulty chewing or swallowing. • VIDEO LARYNGOSCOPY & VIDEO STROBOSCOPY: These specialized exams use a camera to look into the throat to rule out medical conditions that may need medical management, and to visualize the vocal cords while in motion. **NOTE: Patients with complicated medical histories or significant smoking history may need video laryngoscopy to rule out other medical conditions, before beginning therapy.
